The Millennium Cross is on the peak Krstovar on the Vodno Mount, in the vicinity over Skopje. It was built in 2002 and due to its height of 66 m. it is one of the highest buildings in Macedonia. It was built in honour of the 2 thousand years of Christianity in Macedonia and the coming of the new millennium. It is placed on the highest point of the mountain and you can hike there on foot through the designated paths in the thick woods or, you can take the cable car from Middle Vodno – Krstovar. There are 28 regular gondolas for 8 people and 2 VIP for 4 people on the cable car. The gondolas on the otter part have bike holders. The route is 1.750 m. long, and the ride from Middle Vodno to the Millennium Cross lasts for 10 minutes. It is indeed an attraction which offers a view over the city as if you’re a bird.
