Unveiling the Essence of Macedonian Wines
Lazar winery wines are “created with love” by Lazar as the 4-th generation of the grape producer since 2001. At the winery, you can enjoy some of the best Macedonian wines with international rewards at our wine restaurant along with specialties prepared by our chef.
Our sommelier and hospitality personnel will guide you through the winery and provide you with the best wine & dine experience in the country. Within 500 meters from Lazar Winery, at the Archeological city, Stobi the best wines were made and enjoyed 2400 years ago.
Wine tour schedule:
02.30 p.m. – Departure time. Our team will pick you up from the location you provide.
03.30 p.m. – We reach the Ancient City of Stobi where our local tour guide will give a brief introduction.
04.00 p.m. – We arrive at the Lazar Winery. Welcomed by its host you will be introduced to the wine-making process – a heritage of Mr. Lazar Ristov – the winery’s founder.
04.20 p.m. – We start with the degustation of the finest wines of the Lazar Winery accompanied by Traditional Macedonian dishes.
07.00 p.m. – Departure time, heading back to Skopje.

Fantastic value, 5 generous portions wine tasting pairing food & main course. 3 wines + 2 reds. We love the Italian Reisling. Aleksandar is a very friendly guide.

We booked the tour the day before we left Skopje and we were not mistaken. From the whole stay in Macedonia, which was more business, I will always remember the visit of this winery. Macedonia really has the best wines in the world. Very good, local winery with national taste, sun and great landside. Nice staff, great prices!

Popova Kula Winery is a lovely place with great food and wine and friendly people. Peaceful setting and stunning views. A lot of options to explore local nature, culture and cuisine.
