The Archaeological Museum of Macedonia is one of the most grandiose facility from the 2014 project that enriched Skopje with new architectural solutions. The museum has collection of approximately 7.000 objects and findings that are driven as results from many archaeological researches performed on the whole state territory.
The museum exists for almost a century and is the oldest and most significant museum facility in the country.
The museum building is organized in three levels in which thirteen periods of history is distributed and presented.
The Archaeological Museum of Macedonia works every day from Tuesday - Sunday, from 10 am - 6 pm. (except Mondays and state holidays).
The ticket price for foreigner visitors is 150 denars (aprox. 2,5 Euros)
